Lozza was founded in 1878 in Val di Cadore, establishing itself as the first Italian manufacturer of eyewear frames. After a relaunch in the early 1900s, it expanded throughout Italy. The historic Zilo model was born in the 1940s and became an icon in the 1960s. In the following decades, the brand experimented with shapes and materials, drawing inspiration from youth and art trends. Acquired by De Rigo in 1983, Lozza has preserved its artisanal identity and continues to evolve. In the 2000s it rediscovered vintage styles and launched collaborations with celebrities and cultural projects. Today it celebrates its heritage with art collections and the official recognition of the Zilo as an Italian Historical Brand.
